Print Your Flyers. We Mail Them.

Combine flyer printing and mailing into one order. Reach neighborhoods, promote events, and fill seats — without a trip to the post office.

Why Mail Your Flyers Instead of Handing Them Out?

Handing out flyers works — but it takes time, people, and coordination. You need volunteers or staff standing on corners, walking neighborhoods, or setting up at locations. Bad weather cancels you. Low foot traffic wastes your time. And you can only reach the people who happen to be in front of you.

Mailing your flyers solves all of that. Your flyer lands in every mailbox on the routes you choose, regardless of weather, traffic, or timing. A church promoting a fundraiser can reach 2,000 households in a 3-mile radius without asking a single volunteer to walk a block. A school advertising open enrollment can hit every family in the district. A small business can blanket its neighborhood with a grand opening flyer while the staff stays focused on getting the store ready.

The best part: when you combine printing and mailing into one order, you skip the logistics entirely. You do not need to pick up your flyers, sort them, address them, or drive them to the post office. Your flyers go from our press to the mail stream to mailboxes — and you focus on running your event.

EDDM: Reach Every Door in Your Area

Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) is a USPS program designed for exactly this: mailing to every address on a postal route without needing a mailing list. You choose the ZIP codes and carrier routes, and the postal carrier delivers your flyer to every mailbox on those routes. No names. No addresses. No list to buy.

EDDM is built for local outreach. If your audience is "everyone within 5 miles," EDDM reaches them all at the lowest possible postage rate. The USPS charges significantly less for EDDM than for addressed marketing mail because there is no address processing — the carrier just delivers to every box in sequence.

To use EDDM, your flyer needs to meet USPS size requirements — at least 6.125 by 11 inches for flat rate. Our EDDM-ready flyer sizes are preconfigured to meet this requirement. Choose your size, upload your design, select your target routes using the USPS EDDM online tool, and we handle everything from printing to postal delivery.

EDDM is perfect for event flyers because events are inherently local. A concert, a fundraiser, a grand opening, a seasonal sale, a community festival — these events draw from nearby neighborhoods. EDDM puts your flyer in every household within those neighborhoods. No targeting needed beyond geography, and the cost per household is lower than almost any other marketing method.

Addressed Flyer Mailings

If you have a specific list of people you want to reach — your customer database, your membership roster, a purchased mailing list — addressed mail delivers your flyer directly to each individual. Each piece prints the recipient's name and address, which means higher open and response rates than unaddressed saturation mail.

We accept mailing lists in CSV or Excel format. Upload your list, and we clean it through USPS address verification. This process corrects formatting, adds ZIP+4 codes for postage discounts, and flags addresses that are undeliverable. Clean lists save you money — no printing or postage wasted on mail that bounces.

Addressed mail costs more per piece than EDDM because of the addressing step and higher postage rates. But the response rate is also higher. A flyer with your name on it gets more attention than a generic one. For organizations with established audiences — schools mailing to enrolled families, churches mailing to members, businesses mailing to existing customers — addressed mail is the better investment.

Postage for addressed mail drops when your mailing is presorted by ZIP code. Our mailing process handles presorting automatically, qualifying your campaign for USPS automation discounts that are 30 to 50 percent below retail postage rates. You cannot get these discounts mailing on your own — they require volume, presort, and CASS-certified addresses.

Planning Your Flyer Mailing Campaign

A successful flyer mailing starts with two decisions: who do you want to reach, and what do you want them to do?

For event promotion, your audience is usually geographic — households near the venue, families in the school district, neighbors around the business. EDDM handles this perfectly. Pick the routes that surround your event location, and every household on those routes gets your flyer.

For repeat engagement — your regular customers, past event attendees, members, or donors — addressed mail is stronger. You already have a relationship with these people, and a personalized mailer reinforces it.

Design your flyer with mailing in mind. One side is your message — the event details, the promotion, the call to action. The other side needs a mailing panel: a blank area where the address, barcode, and postal indicia will print. Our file guidelines include mailing panel templates for each size so you know exactly how much space to leave.

Timeline is important. Plan for 7 to 14 business days from order to delivery. That includes printing, mailing preparation, postal drop, and carrier delivery. If your event is on Saturday the 15th and you want flyers in mailboxes by Monday the 3rd, you need to place your order and approve your proof roughly two weeks before that delivery date. Build the mailing timeline into your event planning from the start.

For the strongest results, mail your event flyers 10 to 14 days before the event. Early enough that people can plan, close enough that they remember. If budget allows, a second mailing 5 to 7 days before serves as a reminder and boosts attendance.

USPS Requirements for Flyer Mailings

The USPS has specific rules for mail pieces, and we handle compliance automatically. Here is what you should know for planning purposes.

EDDM size minimums: Flyers mailed via EDDM must meet a minimum size of 6.125 by 11 inches or 4.25 by 6 inches depending on thickness classification. Our EDDM products are sized to meet these requirements. You cannot mail a standard 8.5 by 11 flyer via EDDM at the flat-size rate unless it is folded to meet minimum thickness — so if you want EDDM, choose our EDDM-specific sizes.

Postage indicia: Bulk mail uses a printed postal marking instead of stamps. We add the correct indicia during production. You do not need to include it in your design.

Mailing panel: Addressed mail requires a specific area on the piece for the address, barcode, and return address. Our file guidelines show the exact mailing panel dimensions for each product size. Design your flyer so that important content does not overlap with the mailing panel area.

Address formatting: For addressed mail, addresses must pass USPS CASS certification. We process your list through validation software that corrects errors, adds ZIP+4, and generates the required Intelligent Mail barcode. You just need to provide a clean spreadsheet.

Delivery timing: Most EDDM campaigns are delivered within 3 to 7 business days after we drop the mailing at the post office. Addressed standard mail typically takes 5 to 10 business days. Plan your order around these windows to ensure your flyers arrive before your event.
